Brandon

Brendon is a dedicated lifelong martial artist, fitness enthusiast, and passionate health and wellness advocate. His journey began at the age of five when he took his first Karate class, and since then, Brendon has immersed himself in the world of martial arts, training in disciplines such as Jiu Jitsu, Wrestling, Boxing, and competing professionally in both MMA and Muay Thai.

Brandon

In 2021, Brendon’s fighting career came to an abrupt halt due to injuries, which sparked an introspective journey into his own health. He quickly realized that the traditional healthcare system’s approach to rehabilitation wasn’t going to support his recovery, so he took matters into his own hands. This pivotal moment led Brendon to explore natural methods for healing, focusing on movement, massage, breathwork, and nutrition. His newfound passion for holistic healing has since become a core aspect of his life, and he is now committed to sharing this knowledge with others to empower them to take control of their health and well-being.

Brendon is now an integral part of the Anima Movement Center team, serving as a Movement Specialist. With his extensive background in martial arts and fitness, he works closely with clients to help them optimize their movement, improve mobility, and restore balance to their bodies. Brendon is passionate about using movement as a powerful tool for healing and performance, and he designs personalized programs that focus on strength, flexibility, and injury prevention. As part of the Anima team, he is dedicated to empowering clients to achieve long-term health and vitality through a holistic approach to movement.

Originally from Boise, Idaho, Brendon relocated to San Diego in 2016, where he has developed a deep love for everything the city has to offer. Outside of his work at Anima, whether teaching or training martial arts or facilitating healing sessions, Brendon enjoys spending time at the beach, soaking up the sun, or playing with his beloved dog, Kobe. His holistic approach and commitment to personal health make him a valuable asset in helping others achieve balance, strength, and vitality.
